Ricky J Garcia, born and raised in McAllen, Texas, follows in his father’s footsteps to serve the South Texas community. He works as part of the litigation team as an attorney, carefully handling cases for clients.
He received his B.B.A. from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2016, where he made the Dean’s list numerous times. Upon graduating, he was accepted into South Texas College of Law Houston on a scholarship. While attending STCL-Houston, he participated in Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions under the leadership of T. Gerald Treece. Additionally, in law school, he was an active member of the Hispanic Law Students Association.
During his 1st year of law school summer, Garcia interned at the Fleming, Nolan, and Jez Law Firm, where he worked on mass tort litigation cases for defective medical devices such as hernia meshes, IVC filters, and specific knee and hip replacements.
Garcia graduated law school and was admitted to the Bar in 2022. Because of Mr. Garcia’s score on the Uniform Bar Exam, he is eligible for admission to practice in all 41 states that recognize it.
